Shadow Cabinet Secretary Zoe McKenzie attacks Labor’s right-to-disconnect laws, arguing businesses and workers need to operate as teams rather than return to workplace relations settings from the 1970s and 1980s. “Everyone’s talking about their rights as opposed to what they do to work together as a team to support the business,” Ms McKenzie told News24 host Chris Kenny. “Like it’s sort of the 1970s and you can just take the phone off the hook. “That’s not the world in which we live anymore, but they keep trying to drive us back to these 70s and 80s IR settings. “No business in my particular feels like they are lucky. “No one is getting ahead.”
