I think Lanterns is making it a habit to just let us sit with the cliffhangers from the previous episodes by completely going off the wagon each new episode and simply adding on to the list of questions that have not even been addressed, let alone answered. The first episode ended with Hal Jordan’s mysterious death in the 2026 timeline and the second one ended with the big Sinestro reveal. Not just that, Hal and John also have a ticking clock to track down the Manhunter in Rushville before Antaan and his posse of aliens blow up half of Nebraska.
