Former Federal Labor Minister Stephen Conroy dismisses falling home values as a theoretical concern for most Australians, arguing homeowners are largely unaffected unless they are selling. “The vast majority of people aren’t looking to sell their house,” Mr Conroy told News24 host Paul Murray. “It’s just like okay, the value of my house isn’t what it was yesterday; it only impacts me if I’m looking to sell. “It becomes a theoretical scare campaign.”
