This could make a long day of forming feel a whole lot shorter. ๐Ÿ‘€ The new DEWALT cordless duplex nailer takes a fastener that traditionally gets driven with a hammer and turns it into a pull-of-the-trigger job. Duplex nails are commonly used for temporary construction like concrete forming because the first head secures the material while the second remains exposed so the nail can be pulled later. For this demo, though, I wanted to see one thing: How quickly can I empty the gun? So I loaded it up and started firing until every duplex nail in the magazine was gone. The speed is impressive, but when you multiply that across hundreds of nails on a forming job, thatโ€™s where a tool like this could really start making a difference. Concrete guys and formwork carpenters is this replacing the hammer, or are you sticking with the old-school method?
