If you think about it, John Stewart has never exactly had a proper background lore. Yes, there are miles of it to go around when it comes to Hal Jordan, especially in the comics, but for John, we never really went into the details of it all. Maybe that is why the latest episode of Lanterns took what probably could be a big risk by ignoring every other subplot and cliffhanger in order to explore how John ended up being chosen as the next Green Lantern after Hal, that too in extraordinary detail. Apart from giving us a very detailed recipe on how to make a Green Lantern from scratch, I must say that this truly was the best episode yet. #ShowVsComicVsCartoon #JohnStewart #GreenLantern #dccomics
