As a 2000s kid, running home from school to catch Toonami on Cartoon Network was the equivalent of going to religious services. I still remember sitting on the floor with a bowl of cereal in my lap, watching Tom and Sara present some of the greatest animation of our time! The futuristic satellite broadcast theme, the killer voice actors, the drum-and-bass bump that started each night, and, on top of all that, the killer relationship and bond between Tom 2.0 and Sara... The camaraderie they shared made us feel like we were a part of an exclusive secret club, and then they let the dope shows roll… I mean, everyone remembers DBZ, Naruto, Sailor Moon, or Gundam Wing. Those were the shows you couldn’t wait to tell all your friends about at school the next day. #Toonami #ToonamiGeneration #2000sKids #cartoonnetwork
