Lucky are those who have grown up during the golden era of fighting games. The likes of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter have left behind such a legacy that fighting game franchises have been redefined, and of course, there have been some fine live-action movie adaptations along the way. Now, I am disappointed more often than not with these films because they rarely get the act together, but of late, I have been pleasantly surprised. The Mortal Kombat movie was pretty solid, and now, it seems like Street Fighter is all set to follow suit. The upcoming movie has already left the fans excited with a couple of intense trailers that make it pretty evident that the film will stick to the core values of the video games, with the goofy and campy bits intact. #StreetFighter #StreetFighterMovie #StreetFighter2026 #capcom
