Tarrant County, one of the most politically competitive counties in Texas, has voted along party lines to eliminate 92 Election Day polling locations, cutting the total from 316 to 224. Republican county leaders call the consolidation more efficient, while James Talarico and local critics warn it could mean longer trips, longer lines, and lower turnout in a county that could play a major role in the Texas Senate race.
