There are some movies that are difficult to review because they just straight up suck but then there are other movies that are difficult to review because you can’t make out head to tail of it. And the movie we’re reviewing today, Hope, falls mainly into that second category. You know, when I heard Na Hong-jin was returning to the big screen after like a hiatus of a decade, already having bangers like The Chaser, The Yellow Sea, and The Wailing under his belt….and that too with an epic science-fiction creature film, I was excited. And then I found out that the film was going to have everything. I mean everything….monsters, gun fights, survival, family drama, aliens, and insane mythology lore….all packed into a runtime of like two and a half hours. #Hope #Hope2026 #HopeMovie #HopeFilm #nahongjin
