The latest episode of Lanterns set a very different tone as opposed to what the first two episodes of the show had been following, with the whole True Detective style mystery approach that ended in completely unrelated cliffhangers. But the third episode took a rather unusual route by completely abandoning the most asked questions to dwell on John Stewart’s extraordinarily detailed backstory. Honestly, if the show makers had not included his lore, I would have never known that I needed it and that is only because the comics have refrained from giving the guy a proper origin story along with the details for all these years. This episode also marked the first appearance of one of the Guardians of the Universe in Lanterns and from everything we have learned so far, they are just as strategic as we believed them to be! #GuardiansOfTheUniverse #DCComics #GreenLantern #HalJordan #sinestro
