Given that we are only 3 episodes into Lanterns, I am still a bit confused on the tone that the show is trying to set. Up until now, we have been jumping across 3 different timelines, getting back to back cliffhangers that went unaddressed, followed by a banger origin story that was an absolute treat for long time comic book fans like me! But I think we will soon see the series build the whole pipeline from John Stewart literally being raised to be a man of strong will to him being recruited as the next Green Lantern to replace Hal Jordan to what led Hal’s unexpected death in the show. In the second episode, when John ended up creating a living bird instead of flying, we got a good whiff of how different and refined his powers could be! #JohnStewart #GreenLantern #JohnStewartGreenLantern #NewGreenLantern
