Hello and welcome back to another marvelous video, guys! John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) is an unparalleled sci-fi horror. The idea that there was a shapeshifting creature among you and that it could be anybody is terrifying in itself…and Carpenter notched it up even further by bringing one of the most grotesque monsters ever seen on screen to life. Now, I have watched this movie countless times and honestly, I picked up the original novel, Who Goes There? by John W. Campbell, after a couple of watches. And of course, I noticed the several differences between the two and the creative liberties Carpenter took. However, I am definitely not comparing the two because, personally, both works are absolute gems on their own. Yet, the differences are unmissable, so here goes a list of ten changes that the director made! #TheThing #JohnCarpenterTheThing #TheThing1982 #WhoGoesThere
