After watching the trailer of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which has been adapted for an eight-episode HBO series, I have decided to put my skepticism aside. I mean, I have been far too cynical about this one when it was first announced, but I guess the trailer has me intrigued because honestly, it doesn’t look like a disaster. Of course, if you try comparing with the legendary actors who have owned the roles in the movies you might be disappointed, but for a new generation being introduced to Harry Potter, maybe, they wouldn’t have the same biasness. However, the reason behind my enthusiasm is mainly the very noticeable difference between the upcoming TV series and the movie that started off the film series. JK Rowling’s novel seems to have a more detailed adaptation this time around, and most importantly, the makers seem to have retained the best things from the movies. #HarryPotter #HarryPotterHBO #HarryPotterSeries #hboharrypotter
