Vice President JD Vance told Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford that he does not know whether humanity is living in the “end times,” but said he would not be shocked if the Antichrist were “walking among us.” Vance also said he is focused on doing what he considers God’s work and would be “OK” if that ultimately leads to the end times, while also saying he would welcome a world that continues thriving long after he is gone. The comments came during a wide-ranging discussion of Vance’s Catholic faith, artificial intelligence, spiritual darkness, and religion in public life. Ring of Fire's Josh G. explains.
