A cargo plane has overshot the runway at Miami International Airport, forcing all runways and taxiways to close. The Boeing 767 operated by Amazon Prime Air overran the runway after landing from Puerto Rico. A full ground stop is now in place as emergency crews respond. A spokesperson for the company, Kelly Nantel, confirmed the crash, which occurred in Miami. “This is a fast-moving situation, and we’re still gathering details. We’re working closely with local authorities and officials to understand exactly what happened,” she said. “Right now, our absolute priority is the safety, well-being, and care of everyone involved.”
