News Corp Correspondent Sophie Elsworth warns Britain is facing a dramatic escalation in Channel crossings, with boats now reportedly carrying up to 150 asylum seekers compared with 30 or 40 in previous dinghies. “Interestingly, now we’re seeing mega dinghies come into the UK,” Ms Elsworth told News24 host Chris Kenny. “They used to have dinghies with 30 or 40 asylum seekers; now they’re coming with sometimes up to 150 or more. “This is very, very concerning for Britain and something that Andy Burnham needs to get on top of.”
