News24 host James Macpherson argues One Nation Victoria Leader Warren Pickering’s “messy” past should not disqualify him from holding office. ”It seems like Australian politics has reached the point where the worst thing you can possibly have in your past is a past,” Mr Macpherson said. ”I can't help but think it became a story because it involved a One Nation candidate. “Most people aren't born as politicians; they're born as human beings. “Some politicians even have the extraordinary misfortune of having been young before they became politically useful.”
