I want you to paint a picture in your mind where you live in a massive underground concrete structure. You can never feel sunlight on your skin, nor experience the sensation of rain falling on you. You do not know what birds flying high in the sky look like, and you cannot even travel on an airplane or a train. It seems almost impossible to imagine, right? But what if I told you this is the reality of at least three generations of people in the Silo universe? They live like any of us, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and even having funerals; working to sustain themselves, and tens of thousands of these folks have never even wondered what life could be like on the surface of the Earth. What sounds like an uninhabitable nightmare for us is the only reality they know. #Silo #SiloSeries #SiloAppleTV #SiloAnatomy #scifiworldbuilding
