Heya, everyone, welcome back to the channel! Now that Lanterns is airing weekly, everyone’s been extra focused on Green Lantern lore- understandable; I’m right there with y’all. So let me just ask you one question, and it’s going to sound simple but absolutely is not. Who was the first Green Lantern to show up in the comics? I’m pretty damn sure you’ll all say Hal Jordan. And if I ask you to picture the Green Lantern that you know best, you’d probably think of Hal again- the cocky test pilot, because you’ve either read about him in the comics or seen him in the terrible 2011 movie. Or you could be seeing John Stewart, which is pretty damn likely considering he carried the mantle and became the definitive Green Lantern for a whole generation of kids who grew up on the Justice League cartoon. #AlanScott #GreenLantern #FirstGreenLantern #OriginalGreenLantern
