I think that it’s an undisputed fact that the Alien franchise is one of cinema’s most iconic and influential sci-fi horror universes. Created by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett and brought to life by legendary artist H.R. Giger and director Ridley Scott, the series is famous for spawning one of the most deadly and recognizable creatures of all time: the Xenomorph. However, these geniuses didn’t just give us a creature feature flick, but instead a massive universe with deep and intricate lore that sets it apart, in my opinion, from most other works in the genre. As a result of having this vast and intricately crafted universe, which has only continued to grow with the release of each new film, video game, novel and comic, I feel it provides the perfect breeding ground for unsolved mysteries which fans can spend hours speculating about on the Internet. #Alien #AlienFranchise #AlienLore #AlienMysteries #scifihorror
