Shadow Assistant Minister for Citizenship Dave Sharma says Britain’s latest sanctions against Israel are unlikely to have an impact on the ground, arguing greater dialogue and engagement are needed in the Middle East. “I don’t think it’s likely to have an impact on the ground,” Mr Sharma told News24 host Chris Kenny. “My view is the way to influence the situation in the Middle East is through more dialogue, more engagement.”
