Ten years guys. Ten years is how long we waited for Na Hong-jin to return to the big screen after his masterpiece The Wailing. And when we heard he was returning with a sci fi monster flick with a massive budget and that too starring Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Michael Fassbender, and Alicia Vikander, you best believe we were excited. The film even starts out strong. But as it progresses, you get more and more lost until the final ending leaves you completely frustrated. The ending felt more like an interval, if you ask me. The film makes you think you’re watching a creature feature and then slowly pulls back the curtains to show you that there’s a much bigger story brewing in the background. #Hope2026 #HopeMovie #NaHongJin #HopeKoreanMovie #scifihorror
