Okay, before we get started, I want you to imagine this: it’s 1992, you’re a kid, you’ve got a bowl of cereal, and you switch on the television one Saturday morning ready to be a couch potato for the next couple of hours. Obviously, you expect the usual lineup, but somewhere in that timetable, right after X-Men: The Animated Series, there’s supposed to be something new- a cartoon called Operation: Aliens. It has Ellen Ripley, whom we know and love, but now she’s a lieutenant in the Space Marines. Hicks, Bishop, Vasquez, Apone, Drake and Hudson are all reimagined as an alien emergency response unit that gets called in whenever a Xenomorph outbreak happens and is about to threaten a colony. And that’s not all; there’s also an entire line of action figures on the shelves to go with it. #OperationAliens #Alien #Aliens #xenomorph
