Dead or alive, RoboCop is coming back, and this time… Amazon is bringing the man beneath all that metal back with an eight-episode television series, to be made with all the major pieces of cinematic and filming tech. Amazon MGM Studios has officially ordered the live-action project for Prime Video, while Dan Stevens has now been confirmed as both Alex Murphy and his cybernetic alter ego, moreover, the writers of the original RoboCop movie are serving as executive producers, so that definitely gotta mean something. But you know Dan Stevens, right? I mean, considering his roles and characters in IPs such as Legion or Monsterverse… well, he does not really come off as someone who is an obvious all-muscle action star, right? But the thing is… this may be exactly why the decision to cast him in the role of Murphy is interesting. #RoboCop #DanStevens #AlexMurphy #NewRoboCop #RoboCopSeries
