We are 4 episodes into Lanterns and while the latest episode did come with a lot of revelations that will surely change the course of the entire show going forward, we still do not know a lot about Hal Jordan’s past. Yes, we did get the scoop on how he became Earth’s first Green Lantern, but a lot has changed since then. Hal is no longer the cheery hopeful superhero he once used to be, in fact we see him wear his cynicism like an armor that hides the person wearing the suit. Lanterns has not just teased but made it pretty obvious that Hal has been on the outs with his blue skinned extraterrestrial bosses for a rather long time. The Guardians also have been actively trying to replace Hal with John Stewart, that too without having to face the Green Lantern amidst the whole process. #HalJordan #GuardiansOfTheUniverse #GreenLantern #DCUniverse
