On July 3, 2025, officers working a sobriety checkpoint in Mountain Home, Arkansas initially allowed a vehicle to leave the checkpoint. But moments later, one officer recognized the female passenger as someone with an active warrant, prompting officers to conduct a traffic stop further down the road. When the passenger was asked to step out of the vehicle, she refused at first, arguing the stop was illegal and repeatedly threatening to sue the officers. After finally exiting the truck, the situation escalated into a brief struggle as officers attempted to take her into custody. During the arrest, the passenger claimed she was pregnant, while officers continued their investigation.
