Canadian Minister of Fisheries Joanne Thompson: "The world today is very different. It's harder and I won't pretend that it isn't. Things have changed, but the Canadian values shown in Gander have never wavered. Today, what we all need more of is what this town had and still has in abundance; humanity...25 years ago the world turned on the TV and saw the worst in humanity, then it looked to Gander and saw the best." https://youtube.com/live/Wkl0vAMmU0I?feature=share Download the FREE C-SPAN Now App. https://www.c-span.org/c-spanNow/ Discover the C-SPAN Video Library at https://www.c-span.org/quickguide/ Explore C-SPAN's Free Educational Resources at https://www.c-span.org/classroom/ C-SPAN: Created by Cable in 1979.
