There aren’t very many characters who have the reputation of being hated and feared as well as loved by fans. I mean, in one movie from maybe Japan, you are all worried that he’s gonna bring about a nuclear disaster, and in the very next movie from maybe the U.S., you are all cheering for him cause he’s about to help a loveable giant ape.
