The once-booming market for Trump merchandise is cooling dramatically, with retailers and wholesalers telling The Wall Street Journal that demand for hats, shirts, flags and other MAGA products has fallen during Trump’s second term. Donald “Whitey” Taylor, owner of Trump Town USA in Boones Mill, Virginia, says daily sales have dropped from roughly $15,000 in 2024 to about $1,500, while other Trump-themed stores have closed and suppliers have reduced orders. The merchandise slowdown comes as a recent Financial Times/Focaldata poll put Trump’s approval at 33%, its lowest level in that survey. Ring of Fire's Josh G. explains.
