News24 host Rita Panahi argues Sydney Sweeney faces backlash because of who she is, claiming a different model would have been praised as ‘stunning and brave’ for the same ad. “Let's be honest, if the same ad was filmed with a model who was all about body positivity, if they were a little bit overweight, a little bit unattractive, if they were trans, for example, everyone would be saying how stunning and brave it is,” Ms Panahi said. “It is because it is Sydney Sweeney in particular. “She does seem to trigger the sisterhood.”
