U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche defended U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday during a White House press briefing. Blanche said Trump “has every right” to criticize the justices, with the president having lashed out earlier in the day at his own Supreme Court appointees in his latest criticism of the court after an unfavourable ruling. A day earlier, the top U.S. judicial body declined to allow a U.S. Postal Service rule, restricting the use of mail-in ballots in the November midterm elections. "This Supreme Court is bullied and cajoled by the Radical Left into making decisions that have set America back at least a hundred years," Trump wrote on social media. "These are not the people I interviewed to serve on the United States Supreme Court, they are merely a shell of their original selves," Trump continued on Truth Social, without naming any of the justices.
