U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) told reporters Wednesday after meeting with Democrats on Capitol Hill that he is resonating with Republican voters because he's "America first." "When I hear from Republican voters, they're telling me, 'Hey, they ran and said they were America first. And now we're what, Venezuela, Iran, can't seem to get us out of it, tariff war with Canada, that's not America first,'" he said. Mr. El-Sayed also recalled talking to a three-time President Trump voter who said he would vote for him because of his health care policies. "I said why? He's like, 'Well, cause I think you really want to have health care,'" the Senate candidate said. #abdul #elsayed #americafirst #republican #democrat #cspan
