United Nations Secretary General António Guterres spoke Wednesday about the potential dangers of rapid AI development and called for a "coordinated global effort" to mitigate the risks. "We cannot afford to ignore concerns that have been raised, especially by those on the frontlines of the development of AI," he said at a news conference ahead of next week's U.N. General Assembly.
