Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) spoke Tuesday about the growing creator economy and the need for lawmakers to engage with content creators and develop policies affecting the sector as he spoke at the launch of the Senate Creators Caucus. "Right now, in the United States of America at a time that many people are talking about the challenges within our economy, you are part of creating an entire new economic sector," the new caucus's co-chair said. Sen. Booker said the creator economy could account for $1 trillion in economic activity by the end of the decade, while also having broader effects on culture, business and other sectors. "And yet we don't have a dedicated caucus in the United States Senate that is focused on listening and hearing and working to cobble together a common agenda that can empower all of you," he said. #cspan #creatorcaucus #contentcreation #corybooker
