You know guys, as much as it pains me to say, Resident Evil is a franchise that has had so many disappointing film adaptations, that I pretty much stopped having any expectations. Don’t get me wrong, I love the video games. But not a single film from the seven films before have hit the mark. So when I heard that Resident Evil is getting yet another reboot and this time it’s not even remaining all that faithful to the 1998 Resident Evil 2 universe, instead crafting it’s own story and everything, I was obviously skeptical as hell. Then we found out that it was gonna be directed by Zach Cregger, which did have me intrigued. Because even if you weren’t impressed after Barbarian, I’m pretty sure Weapons changed all our minds about him. #ResidentEvil #ResidentEvil2026 #ZachCregger #AustinAbrams
