A federal judge has again blocked efforts to add Trump’s name to the Kennedy Center and has now ordered officials to provide 30 days’ notice before any major physical changes, including demolition. Trump has publicly said the building could be “ripped down” if his renovation plans do not proceed, while photographs showed him reviewing material labeled “Kennedy Center Demolished” aboard Air Force One. The center says its current closure is temporary and based on safety concerns, while Rep. Joyce Beatty’s lawsuit continues challenging the Trump-appointed board’s actions.
