Full Oval Office Event: President Donald Trump spoke about healthcare and answered reporter questions after posting on Truth Social that he is banning several media outlets from the White House. "I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico" … "from the White House as a result of their constant ‘reporting’ FAKE NEWS!," Trump wrote on his social media site Truth Social. The move is the administration’s latest test of constitutional First Amendment protections. Last year, the president decided to keep the Associated Press journalists from White House coverage following the AP's refusal to refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America." Trump has previously pursued other legal action against a variety of different outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and the BBC.
