Okay, I have a confession. I have been a lifelong horror fan, and I know just how much Stephen King means to any horror lover. But I waited a long time before delving into The Stand, because let’s be honest, it’s way more than a book! The Stand is a saga in itself! Now, I have watched the two major screen adaptations of the story and realised how different they were! Sure, neither could fit in the ever-sprawling list of characters and plot points from the book, but still, personally, I preferred the ’94 version.
