C-SPAN's "Ceasefire" — Reps. Ed Case (D-HI) and Jeff Hurd (R-CO) discuss the impact on their respective parties of President Trump urging voters to turn out during the midterms as if he is on the ballot. "I think the voters in my district say, 'Hey, here's a representative that represents his district, he delivers results, he fights for his district, where he agrees with the president, we see that he's representing our district, but he's not afraid to stand up and show independence as well,'" Rep. Hurd said. Rep. Case said the elections will definitely be a referendum on the president and that the most influential question for voters is whether the "Rs [are] capable of checking and balancing this president, or Ds."
