U.S. Senate candidate Mike Rogers (R-MI) criticized his opponent, Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI), on Saturday for his support for Medicare for All, arguing that a Canadian-style health care system could mean longer waits for treatment and less choice for patients. "Abdul talks a lot about wanting a system that looks like Canada," Mr. Rogers said. "My argument is, he should move to Canada." Mr. Rogers claimed cancer patients in Canada face an average wait of about 27 weeks between diagnosis and treatment, while arguing that the U.S. health care system can be improved without replacing it with "Medicare for All." "More Medicare, more money for Abdul's family," he said. #cspan #mikerogers #canada #abdulelsayed #election
