News24 political contributor Chris Uhlmann says he doesn’t see a problem with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Labor’s slumping poll numbers as of right now, but “the next 18 months” will be crucial. “What we know about these sorts of things is that they grow with time,” Mr Uhlmann told News24 host Peta Credlin. “The closer they get to the election, if those numbers stay the same, then people who are on small margins will start considering their future. “I don’t see any problem for the prime minister at the moment or in the near future, but the next 18 months, of course, will be telling.”
