U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) criticized Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. while discussing the recent Cyclospora outbreak during a town hall in Saginaw, Michigan, on Saturday. "It kind of goes back to the fact that they appointed a guy who literally takes his kids swimming in shit's creek as health director for the whole country," he said. Mr. El-Sayed also said that if elected, he would be the first Democratic doctor elected to the U.S. Senate since 1969. "I think we all could agree we probably need a public health senator right about now," he said. #elsayed #rfkjr #health #cyclospora #cspan
