Parliament is set to resume Monday after a three-month break. This amid the U.S. trade war and Canada's move to strengthen ties with the European Union. Prime Minister Mark Carney told his MPs Friday that this would be a "crucial session of the House of Commons." He said his Liberal government will be introducing some of the most consequential legislation in decades, including a bill to streamline infrastructure project reviews. Carney will attend Question Period Monday, before travelling to New York City for the United Nations General Assembly. Global’s David Akin joins Victoria Femia with more.
