This could well be the modern day crown jewel of DC Animated Universe, or at least the first part of the Batman Knightfall trilogy has me thinking that way. Batman: Knightfall happens to be one of my favorite stories, and to see it adapted so accurately with minimal changes was a delight. I think the makers ended the first part perfectly, with the fall of Batman after Bane literally breaks his back in front of the Gotham City Police Department being the helpless spectators. The story captured the rise of Bane from his tragic origins to his powerful adulthood, and this has to be one of those Batman villain moments, where you wonder how the Dark Knight will overcome the challenge. Now, the trailer of Part 2 is finally out there, and you get to see glimpses of the terrifying aftermath of Batman’s humbling defeat. #BatmanKnightfallPart2 #BatmanKnightfall #AzraelBatman #brucewayne
