We were watching this Monday as President Donald Trump and Mayor Zohran Mamdani met for about an hour at Gracie Mansion to discuss affordable housing in the city. The pair of leaders spoke about a number of issues before taking questions from the press, which comes amid the temporary suspension of the White House television pool. One main focus of the discussion was affordable housing and the efforts being made to transform Sunnyside Yard in Queens into a new neighborhood with 12,000 affordable homes. LiveNOW’s Andy Mac is speaking with Jason Beeferman from POLITICO as the apparent "bromance" between the two appears to be continuing.
