News24 Washington Correspondent Jonathan Kearsley says there will be a display of “bromance” between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping when they meet at the upcoming AI summit. “On the surface, there’s going to be a lot of hugs and handshakes and glorious ceremony, but beneath it there’s tension obviously between these two superpowers,” Mr Kearsley told News24 host Sharri Markson. “That’s not going to change between these two superpowers, whether the meal is steak or whether it’s chicken.”
