In an address to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump used his allotted time – and more – to defend his decision to start a war with Iran. Trump accused Iran of stalling to make a deal to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz and negotiate an endgame to the war until after the midterm elections in the United States. In response, the Republican president wasn’t shy about making threats, revealing he has “a big decision to make” about whether he will “let them [Iran] rebuild and create a far greater country” or “drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness for generations.” Trump went a step further, calling on fellow UN member nations to join the U.S. in “complete economic isolation or Iran until they stop their attacks on commercial shipping, relinquish their nuclear ambitions, and cease their support of terror.” For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/12068278/trump-united-
