As a fan of the franchise who has endured a few underwhelming Resident Evil movies along the way, I cannot get enough of the new take on the series by Zach Cregger. I think the best part about the new movie is how fresh it feels even though it is still very much a part of the broader Resident Evil narrative. You have Raccoon City and the outbreak that has gone out of hand, but the protagonist here is a new guy named Bryan who is not your typical horror movie hero. He is a medical delivery guy who gets the most important delivery assignment of his life on a night that keeps getting worse as the infection takes over the entire city. #ResidentEvil #ResidentEvil2026 #ZachCregger #Capcom #raccooncity
