Hello and welcome back to our channel! Uhm, I am not really gonna talk about how Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story turned out, but from a factual point of view, the makers really twisted it. I understand dramatisation and all, but to present something which has contradictory evidence as an absolute truth was pretty disappointing. Yeah, I am talking about Bertha Manchester. Apparently, Lizzie Borden’s story wasn’t bloody enough for Ian Brennan and Ryan Murphy, who went a step further and put Lizzie at the centre of Bertha's murder. And even framed the old woman as her first victim. But this is where the historical record comes in and shows things in a completely different light. Yes, there was an actual Bertha Manchester who was indeed murdered, but what was Lizzie Borden's connection to it? Was there even one to begin with?
