News24 host Steve Price launches an attack on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for pushing global AI safety regulations during his UN speech. “Not sure about his timing … Donald Trump was hosting the Chinese president at the White House along with all the major players of big tech and AI after President Trump earlier in the week from the same lectern talked up the benefits of AI,” Mr Price said. “Clearly, Albanese, unlike Trump, is a huge fan of the UN, advocating a globalist view on AI, joining other UN-loving countries like the French and UK under new PM Andy Burnham, with Albanese calling for action to shape the technology.”
